Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

It's getting close. We had 850 posts for December. How could we ever top that? We had one suggestion about walking, driving etc. for exactly 10 minutes and then taking photos there. Any other good ideas?

Wishing you all a very happy, healthy and serene New Year filled with beautiful images both in your mind and camera. I started this group just over a year ago and it has been so fulfilling. Thanks to all for contributing.

F, thank you for starting the group and for being so active in it.  I know it must be alot of work (especially when new members start making suggestions about organizing topics)!  To repeat what has been said before..F is for Fabulous, Fantastic, etc!

Now, getting into January!  It is the middle of winter where I live...granted, all of our snow is pretty much melted, but if I drive or walk for ten minutes, I am going to end up at Petco or on the golf course, and in either case, will not be able to take a picture of Rua very well because she will be on a leash 5' away from me.  LOL   So, do you mean a picture of our Doodle 10 minutes from were we are or any picture???

Again, F, thank you for all that you have done!!!!!!!

You are very welcome. I think what was meant is to photograph what you find there. Although we take lots of doodle pictures we don't always have to. But a 10 minute walk is OK too. Or maybe others have other suggestions.
You would have to take a photo of what is before you, the challenge is to make an interesting photo out of something not so interesting. Doodles welcome to tag along but they don't need to be in the photo. Just thought it would be fun to see what everyone would come up with.
I like the 10 minute idea--it would force me into some new subjects and scenerios . . .

I think the 10 minutes away idea sounds intriguing... except that in any direction I'd end up somewhere pretty ugly. LOL.

Edit: Ah, I see. So not necessarily a doodle photo. Then I think that sounds fun. See what cool photo you can make of something unexpected.

I'm a newbie to this group and STILL waiting patientlyfor my camera!  DH will be home Friday so hopefully this weekend we can go get one for me.....I hope to be able to join in on the January assignments!
We hope so too.
I like Donna's suggestion about the before/after to make it a bit interesting....The 10 minute walk is also great, as it breaks up the monotony of the same ol', same ol' and we benefit from the excercise!

OK--I don't know what the assignment is but to honor the request for one handed photography, here we go!! This was taken after being outside for 10 minutes (in 5f wing chill!); I was NOT 10 min from my start point--which is about where the tree on the left is (smile!!) but it is in "the spirit" of the 10 minute plan! I also had to play with my new software a bit even though I don't have a clue about it yet!!! . . . (if this loads with my "mountain DSL service" it will be amazing . . .)

Great shot with however many hands and I suspect 10 min in any direction would be gorgeous scenery too.
Nice! I love the scenery and how you played with it. And all of it done one-handed! WOW! Hope your wrist is feeling better.
Sounds like a fun assignment. It will be interesting to see what everyone's environment (within 10 minutes of their house) looks like.
