Priority Quilts for Alzheimers was an organization that sold the small quilts (fit inside a postal Priority Mail Envelope). I raised $1000 for Alzheimers. My favorite quilt was the Alzheimer and the Lewy Body Quilt. I printed the pictures on my Epson R1900 printer then quilted them. Animals pictures turn out great. I use trapunto to give a 3D effect of the quilt. I also did a couple of my grandson's artwork. It is a great way to preserve the picture and having generational project.
The Esperer' quilt is the map of Haiti that looked to me like a young girl of African descent. Esperer' means Hope. It was after the devastation in Haiti.
The Cockapoo was my sister's dog. The picture printed lighter than the original picture but I thought it turned out to be a great quilt.
