I'd like to start to put together a monthly romp meet in the Chandler to Scotsdale area. Starting in Oct. Please list your name and what area you live in and any suggestions you have on great dog parks.

The response is great and I am excited that we have about 12 doodles ready to romp!!! Now let's get some input on the day of the week/weekend that works for you all and the time of day.
I plan to go to some of the specialty pet stores in the area and ask for donations for prizes.( I can beg like a cute dog if I have to)
Anyone have any doodle games ideas? Or maybe owner games ideas? Let's make it fun for all. Or we can leave it simple and just do doggie-door prizes.

Well we are well over 30 doodles now with all the emails and responses here on the forum. Even if 1/2 showed up that would be a great crowd. I had an idea about us doing a Doggie Toy Swap. Do some of you have a toy or two that you've bought for your doodle and he is just not into it? Totally ignores? Still is good shape? How about if we recycle those neglected toys. One doodles dud can be another doodles treasure. Any ideas?

Hello all who have responded and to anyone who would like to attend, we will be having our first monthly doodle romp at the Chaparal Dog Park on October 10th, beginning at 8:30 am.

I will send reminders to the group as we get closer to the date and any updates or changes should there be any.

I feel we can plan on the second sat. of each month at 8:30 for now and see how that works for the majority. So mark your calanders for Nov. 14th and Dec.12th.

Does anyone have any good names we can call our romp as I am posting it to Meetup.com and I need some suggestions.
