I'm trying to capture the color change with my camera, but it hasn't been easy.

She has some dark brown and "grey" mixed on her face and the bridge of her nose. How can she be grey already? She's just a little over 4 months!

Oh my goodness! She's SO adorable! Looks like she had a poodle parent that had silver or "blue" in their bloodline instead of black. That's probably where the grey is coming from....

Our black doodle has some grey hairs here and there and has a reddish/brown tinge on his face and legs/behind. I love how they all have different and fun colors! Enjoy your baby :)

Thanks!

Her mom is a chocolate poodle. But, the breeder did say that she sometimes produces pups with brindle colors in their face. Her mom's color has also faded. But, maybe that's normal for chocolates?

I had a red standard poodle before my doodle and their color faded to a more apricot as an adult. I think what you're seeing with your baby is the fact that it's a mixed breed and you never know what you're going to get with the mixture. I think a chocolate poodle would fade less with two chocolate parents and chocolate bloodlines. Either way what a cutie pie! I just love how different each doodle looks with color and hair :)

Thanks! I can't wait to see what she is like all grown. Of course, it won't be long now, last night I saw that she's losing baby teeth. :(

The latest. These are in different lighting taken this morning.
