Tell Us About Your Blonde's Parents!

I adopted Jack from a shelter. His original owners bought him from a pet store. I know that he is an F1 labradoodle, so he had one Lab parent and one standard poodle parent; it's usually the mom who is the Lab.
I'm sure Jack's Lab parent was a yellow lab. He has a friend who is a yellow lab, and she has the same coloring...very light face, and very light hair on the back of her upper thighs...you know the part that looks like little girl's ruffled panties on our doodles, lol? She has darker apricot coloring like a saddle across her back.
But I have no idea what color Jack's poodle parent was.
What color were your blonde doodle's parents? And were they labs, poodles, goldens, or doodles?

Blue poodles are my current favorites! They are just gorgeous, kind of a dark gunmetal grey. As puppies, they're black, and then as they get lighter, they take on a kind of brownish cast until they're mature. I think my next dog may be a blue poodle.

Yankee's parents are a golden retriever (Zari) & a brown poodle (Cooper).

These are all so interesting! These color genetics are just really complicated! Golden & chocolate, golden & steel blue, black & cream, and yet the babies have such similar coloring! I guess I really can't be sure what color either of Jack's parents were...seems like they could have been anything!
I think it's just one more reason why these doodles are so fascinating, don't you? Each one is really unique!

Patti Cakes mom was a gorgeous golden named Chloe and her father was a white standard poodle named Caesar. She came from Golden Doodle Acres in Neenah Wisconsin. Here is Patti Cakes "coming out" party!

What a great picture! Patti Cakes has the parent coloring that I was expecting most of our guys would have.

Annie's mom is an Apricot ALF 3 Labradoodle. Her dad is a Light Cream ALF 3 Labradoodle, to. Her Grandpa on her mothers side was a Carmel Labradoodle. Her Grandmother on her Mothers side was a Cream Labradoodle. Her Grandpa on her fathers side was Cream Miniature Multi-gen Australian Labradoodle. Her Grandmother on her fathers side is a F1b Cream Labradoodle.

Daisy's mother in a English cream golden retreiver; her dad is a white poodle--1/2 std. / 1/2 miniature. Daisy weighs 34 lbs @ 10 months.
Our new puppy that is coming home June 12 has the same dad and her mother--also an English cream--is related to Daisy's mother about 3 generations back.
