Do you "read" audio books?

I'm addicted to audio books, I often have three or four going at once (not literally!).  Although, more and more of my books are on my iPod, I still belong to a club where I can rent 8 books at a time for a flat fee.  Not only do I have favorite authors, I have favorite readers.

Is anyone else as addicted as I am?

We LOVE audio books - not ipod or kindle or whatever you call its. We have an old-fashioned cd player and we play books when we travel in our RV. I hate it when we get there before the end of the book and I have to wait until we start driving again for the exciting conclusions.

I enjoy listening to audio books when I'm driving. (Mostly non-fiction.) Among my favorites are "Tuesdays with Morrie"and "Many Lives, Many Masters." :)

I can't listen to audio books! The voices are always different than expected in my head (example, Harry Potter) and I get too distracted/irritated by that!

I have several audio books on my mp3 player. My sweet, sweet husband found them online and loaded them up for me, so that I can listen to them in the middle of the night when I wake up and can't get back to sleep!

You can listen to samples to make sure you like the voice, and they usually have several different voices to choose from!

I love audiobooks for stories that are simple. I can't devote all my attention like when I'm reading. They are great while driving or when I'm knitting.
