Comment by Southern Charm Presley on April 29, 2010 at 10:30pm: I keep Presley a bit longer because he is up for commercials and they request the longer shaggy look. I brush him every day from the root all over! He is so used to it because I have been doing this since I brought him home as a puppy! Presley is 1 year old and from Cooper/Dancer liter.

Comment by Eileen Stern on April 27, 2010 at 2:37pm: Simon is adorable! I think I spoke to Mariah when she was thinking about getting her dog. Did she have Irish Wolf hounds before this puppy? I may be confusing her with someone else. My friend down the street has a sister from the litter, Casey. I would love to see a picture of Declan too. I will ask my son how to post some more pictures too.

I'll see if I can find a picture and post it. My guy Simon is from Millcreek Labradoodles' (Atlanta) Cooper/Winnie 5/27/09. He has a beautiful spiral fleece coat that has started changing. I am having him cut down this weekend. I think it is the best alternative until their adult coat is fully in. :-)

Comment by Diana Murphy on April 27, 2010 at 1:51pm: We have had trouble with matting with Tahoe as well. We have kept him with a close cut, not shaved, about an inch and half long. He does well with that. But.....this last grooming he has not matted as badly after his bath. I am thinking that a great cream rinse is making a difference. I think Carol has some suggestions on her website.

Comment by Eileen Stern on April 27, 2010 at 1:44pm: I am new to this site, and was so excited to see a group for Cooper puppies. Wrigley is 11 months old and an offspring of Cooper and Britney from Danmar labradoodles. This is not a recent picture ans I am not technologicaly advanced! She is such a an amazing puppy with a gentle disposition. She loves people and dogs alike! She seems to have Cooper's coat, and I am having a lot of problems with matting, especially after she gets wet. I just cut her really short, but I love the long and shaggy look. Any suggestions??
