About Me:: I am a first time labradoodle owner, mother to two teenage daughters, wife and writer.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: On her first birthday, Lily, has become a full member of the family. We take her everywhere. She is around 37 pounds. Sometimes she's wild as can be, and now in her new maturity, can also be very mellow. She has done so well with her training and I'm glad we took the time to concentrate on that for the past several months. She's very sweet, loving and funny!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Allergies and asthma in family. We never thought we'd be able to have a dog until we started hanging out with Scout, this awesome labradoodle also from Southern Charm Labradoodles who lives across the street. Still no problems with the allergies and asthma (except at the vet's where there are cats).

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: hang out, walk, play tug, go to the beach

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I cut her hair some, but she goes to a groomer every so often

Favorite Doodle Products?: cowboy magic, metal comb, dematter, squeaky toys, stuffed animals

We got our second about a month ago - he is now 10 months old. We got him from the same breeder as Ollie but decided to go with an older puppy so that Ollie could have an instant playmate. Ollie and Murphy are very cute together - they always know where the other one is!!!!! Murphy is a little smaller than Ollie which is not a bad thing.....lol...... We took them to the beach yesterday, which was Murphys first time and he adored it!!!!!

We are excited too about the puppies. Although I am a little nervous about the idea of 2 doodles. I have never had 2 dogs at the same time. It is really going to be odd not having her for several weeks, then having 2! Let me know when you come to Carol's, it would be fun to meet! Take care,
