Penny is getting darker
When we adopted Penny at just about 3 months old, she was cream colored with gold ears.
Her ears were the only gold areas she had. I've noticed that most cream Doodles get lighter as they mature. But Penny is getting more and more gold on her. Her tail is streaky but is mostly gold now. And the streak of gold on her back is spreading. Pretty soon Penny will be half cream/half gold; if not totally gold. I was hoping she'd stay cream and turn lighter; but gold is pretty too. Does anyone have a Doodle that was originally cream that turned two-tone or all gold?
