- About Me:
- I live in Missouri, along with my husband and our 3 "girls". I'm a huge Cardinals fan; hubby is huge Blues fan. I absolutely cannot tolerate winter...hate it, hate it, hate it! Did I happen to say I hate it? I am an amateur photographer. I'm an avid swimmer and also walk for exercise. I love doing the NY Times crossword puzzle (the harder the more challenging!) and play Scrabble. We are Zoo members so we visit the elephants and big cats (our favorites ) a lot. My two most favorite places in the world: Florida and Hawaii.
(We are empty nesters so our dogs are our "babies").

- We have an F1 goldendoodle, born in July, 2015. Her name is Penny. She's cream colored with gold ears. There are slight gold areas that swirl around on her back and in her tail. She has very wavy hair. We also have two other dogs (stray rescues): Lexi and Suzy. Suzy is older and tries to ignore the puppy. Lexi plays with Penny all the time. Penny gets together w/her brother, Jeter, for regular playdates.

Prior to adopting Penny, we hadn't had a puppy in the family for 10 years. We had forgotten how much fun puppies were and how comical they are! Penny keeps us cracking up all the time.

Suzy is still sort of lovable towards us but she barked so much at the kennel that she's hoarse and her howling sounds like something similar to a diesel train. I'm like, "Where is that sound coming from? OMD, it's from our Suzy!".

Got a question for you since you live in Mo. We are going to my husband's family reunion this July and taking Picco. It will be in Perryville/Womack area, in the woods. Do you have any advice for tick protection? We are on Heartguard in the summers but wondering if you have experience with some application that may work for prevention? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Sally, Thank you so much for your nice message. My sister hated the name Fudge and went on and on that it sounded like a bad word :) LOL It made me all the more determined to use that name.
