Cory -- this is super late, but I just joined. My black Goldendoodle is a mini F1B. She weighs right around 30lbs. She has a poodle build - slender body, slender long legs, slender snout. She is non-shedding. As I mentioned she is from Cheyenne Valley Labradoodles. Her website ishttp://www.labradoodlebaby.com/ CVL is a recommended breeder by Goldendoodles.com. She does extensive health testing on her doodles, and has a very nice little housing system set up for the dogs. (They look like little cottages). I really enjoyed my experience and I adore my F1B. To be fair, CVL is on the higher end price wise. From what I've seen F1b's generally do run more expensive then F1's.
I got Veruca (mini black F1b) from CVL too... Violet (F1 honey red color) is from a smaller breeder in Krum, TX that used to breed Golden Retrievers and slowly switched to Goldendoodles. We just got Violet this weekend. Her set up wasn't as fancy as CVL's little individual dog houses, and I know Heather feeds her dogs a raw diet (at least her older ones?) but then, Violet was less then half the price. Veruca's coat is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. I don't do anything to it and it has this glossy sheen - she looks like I oil her down. I love both my girls - no regrets. :)
Me too! I just took Finley home three weeks ago. Safari doodles came VERY highly recommended by my vet and I could not be happier! They are awesome and Finley is just PERFECT!
