Lots of recipes for dehydrator treats, including sweet potatoes, in The Food Group.
I slice the sweet potatoes thick, par boil for a few minutes and dehydrate for about 6-8 hours. They do not turn out as chewy as the store bought ones, but the dog cannot resist them.
Slicing them thin and baking them make them crispy, too. Like Potato chips and they don't take as long and the dogs love them, too. Nice to see more people doing these things for their dogs.
This sounds great Lynne - thanks for posting!
I made these for Haley the other day and he is crazy about them, more so than any other treat I have made for him. And, they smell heavenly. I changed the format slightly by rolling them 1/4" thick and cutting with small animal cracker cookie cutters. I baked them about 30 minutes. After they cool they are very crunchy.

I l ike recipes with few ingredients and this fits the bill.
OMD Anne - I made the exact same recipe last week and picky Mr. Gavin is crazy for them. The left over pumpkin I mixed with some white rice and made pumpkin rice balls as a before-bed-to-ward-off-morning-bile-barf snack and they were a hit too!
I like recipies with few ingredients, too. These sound like my dogs will enjoy them. I'm trying them this weekend. Thanks for sharing Anne.
