Just the Recipies

If you would, please just recipies, no discussions in the recipe pages. If we get enough, maybe we could make up our own DoodleKisses Cookbook. We are teamed up with The Food Group. Join there for discussion.

i need a recipe to make long lasting chews.  I have been buying Monty shin bones, i microwave them a bit.  he is a soft chewer.  he will take off the cooked meat, eat some of the marrow. well lo and behold, somewhere along the line he broke a molar!  Bad dogger mommy is sick as it was broken to the pulp and we had to have it pulled. :(  I truly thought all was well, been doing it for a long time. the vet said it was prob just the angle that the bone came in contact.  Needless to say I'd like to make him something at home as he surely loves chewing his bone on the weekends. having trouble finding a recipe that would be a long lasting chew for him. any help would be appreciated.

Chicken breast toppers.  place a couple of chicken breasts on a plate. microwave at 60% power for about 12 minutes (depends on the size of breasts)  when cool, slice and dice, put in snack baggies, place extras in the freezer.

I like to make breakfast toppers.  put 3 scrambled eggs in bowl, put in microwave with a vented cover, cook for about 2 minutes 20 seconds.  Smush up, bag up, toppers for a week or more.

Dog Treats.  I think many of us think holy crap we need a recipe, I dont know what to do.  Well I dont do recipes very well so I'm gonna just give you an idea, you can create whatever you want.  Feel free to add something awesome or stick to the basics, it really is not difficult, these are treats, not a main staple of dog food, so be creative, throw in other ingredients that might be an enticement for your dogger. Maybe some green beans, or fruit they like?

Lynn, no the recipe isn't listed, I just winged it till it looked right.  I could have added more flour and eggs to stretch it, but it sure made a lot!  As I went along, I tried to make them smaller so that they became more crunchy.  I baked them for 15-18 minutes at 350 degrees.  The treats tasted good to me too!

Great idea. You can do that with sweet potato slices too. I have a dehydrator and am always dehydrating something or other.
