Does your doodle like to sleep on the cold bathroom floor?

Yes, I have one tile sleeper (in the bathroom) and another who never goes in the bathroom unless it is to get scratches. I'm sure it is because the tiles are cool. But it is always in our master bathroom so he is close to us but cool. There are also tiles in the kitchen and the hall bathroom, but he never sleeps there. Another thing he does is to always tuck one paw under the rug in front of the sink or by the toilet. Now what is that all about? I like to have a foot out from under the covers so maybe this is his foot out (or paw under).

Totally! He lovvvves the bathroom floor. That's his #1 nap spot! He used to sleep in his crate, then moved to our bed and now prefers the bathroom floor every night, which I don't mind cuz he's a bed hog! :)

Angel loves it too, right in front of the air vent. It combines her 2 fav nap spots:the air vent and the tile floor.

Yes!!! Darby has always slept in our bed at night but recently she has moved to the bathroom floor. She likes to be cool so I guess she likes the cold tile!

Groucho Too, our goldendoodle, has slept on the cold tiles in the bathroom since he first got run of the house at night. He used to sleep spread eagle, but now (at 3 years old) sleeps on his side. He only sleeps in the master bath (and tucks one paw under the throw rug), and during the day he usually sleeps on the kitchen tiles. We say it is because he is a hot dog. Our labradoodle sleeps on the memory foam pad by our bed or on the leather couch in the living room. Funny how they all have their own preferences for sleeping. Hondo sneaks into bed and lies his head on my hip when he is not feeling well. Groucho Too would never get onto the bed at night - it is just too warm for him.

.The walk in shower at the house in Bend, Oregon is Winston's favorite place when it is hot. There is a picture of hin in the shower on our page. On a hot day in San Anselmo you will find him on the tile floor in the Kitchen. He probably would use the downstairs bathroom floor if I let him in there

It is comfotable because in the summer when it is hot out your doodle will try to finf any where cool and the tiles are cool. Annie does that to in the summer,but in the winter she likes to cuddle in the bed.

Lilly likes to cool tile floors too.
