drool while waiting for his food????

Chewie will drool sometimes while I am putting his food in his dish.  Not all the time, but is this normal?

I have to wash the floor in front of the pantry door daily. Jackdoodle sits there to get a treat several times a day, and the drool flows freely!

I think it's totally normal...LOL. My Chewie licks his lip when he sees me getting his food out.

Only when it's a really good treat or a bone and I have made him sit/stay for a while in order to get it.
