Lily does this with her tennis balls. She loves to send them flying across the floor and under a piece of furniture. This starts a whole new game. ( Make the human retrieve the ball!)
I was just going to ask about this!!!???? Should I stop Bella from stalking? It's really creepy/funny, she doesn't pounce, she just stalks. I was wondering if this could possibly turn into some kind of agression? Anyway, it is fun to watch though very strange, it's good to know it may just be a doodle thing!
Gracie did this all the time when she was a puppy. She would stalk her best friend Sable who is 3 months older than Gracie and is an English Springer Spaniel. It was hysterical to watch. We even videoed it. Now Gracie is over 2 years old and occasionally when the time is right will stalk Sable and then pounce on her. Sable isn't so fond of this kind of play anymore. Maybe because Gracie is a 70 lb Standard Golden who thinks she is the size of a Springer!!!!
Beans and more beans! I have a wonderful garden I have been picking baskets full of green beans since June. Gus loves green beans! Hasn't touched them at all, goes out with me when I pick them. I'll give him a few when we get back into the house. The other night there were 3 wonderful beans hanging at his eye level, he kept hitting them with his nose and looking at me. "Leave it" I said. I came back into the house to get my basket to start picking, as I started back out....................there was Gus emerging from behind the bean trellis with 3 beans hanging out of his mouth! Smile from ear to ear! Opps he dropped one! 3 whirlies around the yard and the bean. He picked up the lone bean with the 2 others in his mouth into the house he ran ever so proud. Looked at me, crunched and ate, he got his prey. I couldn't stop laughing!
