Do doodle coats stop growing?

I love the natural look of my Labradoodle's coat. She is 18 months old and now has her adult coat. We combed her puppy fur out. She never has mats and her coat is light and breezy. It is getting long. Will it stop growing eventually? I hate to think about someone shaving her (read horror stories). I love her sweet curls. I bath her at least every other week and sometimes more. She is combed several times a week. Any thoughts?

My f1 has a coat that seems to stop at about 4 to 5 inches. She does shed slightly. I don't know if my ALD's stop growing. When I got Hugo from Australia, he had an 8 to 10 inch coat at 18 months. I always trim them twice a year.
