I had some time on my hands so I started looking around for favorite grooming videos, I had a hard time actually finding this, it maybe my browser it has been acting weird.

 

So here I am thinking I might as well start a "Favorites" column by Kris & Brinkley the way I'm going. ;-)

Absolute best site to learn how to dremel your dog's toes is www.doberdawn.com.  Dobermans don't have hairy feet so it's a little bit different for us but it's a complete step-by-step guide with pictures.

Yippie, I am non stop searching for grooming techniques, I am arming myself and getting prepared to try again. ( That is after his very short hair that I just gave him grows back!!!  I am learning and I would love him if he was bald but I do want to get the goldendoodle look that is so adorable on him down pat.

No, but I would love to see scissor cutting in action.  I really am having a hard time understanding it.  I think it would take hours and hours to go section by section trying to get it all the same length.  Doodles are not going to stand THAT still!

I just Googled Scissor Cutting Videos and these are what I found.  The one using the blending shears is a good one to show us how to use them properly.  I can't believe the one where they are using those scissors around the eyes.  I would be scared to death to be using them they way they do!!!  Anyway, even though two of the videos are Poodles it gives us an idea how the scissors are used...as weapons!!  lol

Here is an entire list of grooming various areas of a Poodle.  We are not going to be so lucky to find them for Doodles so we can get the idea from Poodle grooming techniques.  Just don't go as short or shave the face and snout or give them Poodle ears or feet!!!  By watching these you can get the idea of direction and how to hold the clippers, etc.
