I have a very basic question about grooming the face, primarily, around the eyes. Winston has wavy hair all over but it's a bit curlier around his face. It seems like he always has hair blocking his eyes. I have been cutting it around the top of the eyes- Like a half moon shape, but I don't know if I should touch the rest or not. The bridge of his nose is getting long and I can't tell from other peoples pictures if they are trimming this too or if the hair on their dog just lays down better. Any advice or tips to keep the hair away from his eyes? Here's a pretty current pic... he was still a little damp here so it's usually even worse than this.

I like to clear all the hair between the eyes and then blend into the head and muzzle. Here is a pic of the cut bridge of the nose just before using blending shears to get rid of the cut marks.

Thanks! So you are using scissors to cut the hair there? Or clippers?

scissors ;) that's why you can see the marks, but after using blending shears, you can see the chop. This pic shows better where to cut. Blending is another whole subject.

meant can't see the chop
