Hi all!

I'm looking to buy a grooming table for my large doodles, Loki is 85lbs and Moose is expected to be around 120 when full grown- who knows what he'll actually be but large either way. I've been looking online and all the pictures have dogs on the tables look much smaller than mine (bichons, or medium sized dogs) so I was curious what you guys use and recommend. I want a table that can be lowered if possible but is really sturdy as Moose is a wiggle worm, and a large wiggle worm lol! I saw that some have electric lifts and some are hydrolic- is one better than the other?

Thanks all!

It looks like what you're looking for is out there if price is not an object (42 inches and 300 lbs).

I have an hydraulic table and I pump it up with a foot device and lower it with a release handle (no electricity involved) . It isn't a grooming table though it is a shop table that my DH wasn't using. I don't know if the hydraulic grooming tables work in a similar manner.  I imagine the electric tables raise and lower using a switch with no pumping involved or they are hydraulic tables powered by electricity so you don't have to pump.

Tara only weighs 20 pounds so it is no effort to pump her up, it could be a bit of a workout to pump up a 120 pounder but could certainly be done.

I also have a hydraulic lift table. Haley is standard size weighing approximately 65 pounds. My DH cut a piece of 3/4 inch to 24" X 48"; beveled the edges and finished it with polyurethane. I bought a grooming arm and mat. It works very well and is a real back saver.
