Les Pooch Brush

Hi everyone!

I really want to buy a Les Pooch Brush for my doodle and I've heard that if we get a group purchase going it is much cheaper! I've seen some chatter of people wanting to get this brush as well --- anyone know how we can set up a group purchase?

Good idea! I already have one, but I think the person to contact would be Kemp of Doodle Country.com who sells the brushes and is a member of DK--maybe he can give you an idea of how to gather DKers who want to buy the brush and what type of discount he may be able to offer (if any...)

It may be difficult to organize this so if you can't do it then start saving because it is worth it IMO.  Make sure you get the right one for your Doodle's coat.   Kemp will help you make the right choice.

I did this about a year ago through a poodle sit---shhh. So look around the web too to see if anyone is doing a group buy. It was very difficult for the woman who was in charge because Les Pooch had back orders, and these folks who groom their poodles were ordering tons of products of various kinds. The very first brush I got I actually drove to a warehouse in NY state. No discount there though.

How can you tell if your LesPouchs is worn out?

Mine is definitely worn out. It is not easily brushing through Kona's coat. I wrote to Kemp and he said they can get too flexible so that the tines don't go through the snarls. When I got mine it went through Kona's ears like butter! No more. :(

I have one that has only half it's tynes left. I call that worn out!!!!!!!  I still use it sometimes for very small areas. :)
