Matting Challenges - Collar/Harness Help!

Oliver is still blowing his puppy coat and matted daily along his collar.  After looking through old posts here we decided to go for a rolled leather collar to help with the matting.  He also sports a shorter hair length in the collar area.

Our issue is that we're still using a harness on walks, and one walk results in so many mats it takes us a long time to brush him out.  Poor pup.

Has anyone seen rolled leather harnesses?  Any recommendations?

Cute puppy... I'm guessing you have seen information on the product, Cowboy Magic.  This helps to also reduce and prevent matts.  ~Leslie
