He looks like a little chocolate cottonball with eyes!! I'm waiting until DH gets home to see him then I'll spritz him - Max Not DH!! He was at the groomers for about 6 hrs and she worked on him for short periods of time, then he got to play with the other dogs. There was a little poodle there about his size and I guess they had a blast. He crashed as soon as I got him home :-)
No, his hair is wavy. She just did a really good brush out, did the sani cut, trimmed face and paws exactly what I asked for. He is so incredibly soft I can't keep my hands off him :-)
I thought it was a great idea that she would work on him for awhile then let him play. She had several first time puppies so he got to play and I think he won't mind going back.
Looks like he & Max have same hair type - wavy fleece. I'm hoping it will be easier for me to brush him now that he's had his first grooming. Eventually I'd like to groom him but he's such a wigglebutt I can't get him to hold still!!
My Max looks like a little cotton ball when he gets back from the groomer too. I had to water him down because it was almost a bit much for his size and age - LOL.
He gets his first actual cut tomorrow and I'm praying he doesn't come home buzzed like a poodle. I love poodles and had one myself, years ago but, I like his doodle look.
In the picture he is 8 weeks old. He is now 14 weeks. He just got groomed today and he is a bit on the short side for my liking. I posted pictures in the forum under "Grooming Disaster."
