Murphy was SHAVED today!!!

It's actually a good thing so don't be alarmed. I did it for a very good reason. The pool is filling and he will be wet from now till I train him to NOT go in. It really looks nice. I found he has grown some dark reddish apricot spots in his coat. They just started popping up but now I can really see them. Think I'll change his name to Spot. I hope you can see them in the pictures.

I just looked at the pictures and he does look like he has knee hi's on. haha. His leg fur is lighter from midway down.

I love the knee highs. It is so shocking at first but a must for a dood who won't stay dry. Sonny got his "speedo" in June. Think he may need a new suit again before August hits. Murphy looks cute.

Hey Murphy looks like MY Gracie Doodle too!  Must be a Gracie thing.  I have Gracie really short right now but no pool.  I can see that Murphy is now looking around and saying "hey, where is the water"?  What a lucky boy.  I would LOVE to have a pool!

Gracie Doodle also has some of the dark reddish spots.  Hers are on her spine sort of towards her back end.  She got them last year around 3 years old.

The doodle we saw when we fell in love with doodles and then found Ned, has this same cut.  It really shows off their muscles.

shaved my dog a few days back, and while I was NOT happy about doing it ( he was terribly matted), now that it's done...I LOVE IT!  My boys are really enjoying having permission to play with him with the backyard hose, because it won't take forever for him to dry anymore.  and my dog looks like your dog's twin.  If I didn't know better, I would think that you took a picture of my dog on  your couch!
