WELL!!!  Let me start by saying I have a new found respect for groomers!  Aye, aye, aye!  I attempted to shave Rosie today....  2 hours later there is hair everywhere and puffballs still on her feet.  I went to beauty college so I thought it would be similar to cutting people hair... NO WAY!  I hate to discourage anyone from DIY grooming but I just don't know if I will do that again!  Anyway, I've attached before and after pictures.  Maybe I'll forget how hard it was in a couple of months and try again!  =)

40.00  for a full groom were do you live that is soooooo good. we pay about 70. to 80 here is seattle  good for you and we have 3 doodles. but we love them happy fall

She looks great!  You did a good job on her.  And it does get easier with experience and I bet you will be up for it again.

Learning to groom a dog professionally takes several months of full time school. Don't let one experience beat you down. You did a very credible job. Especially for a first try. It will get easier and you will get better at it. A full groom in the Vancouver area is $200 for a standard poodle or doodle. That's for brush, bath, blow dry, clipper cut body and scissored legs.
