I have been reading Doodle Grooming about wool, fleece and hair types but can't find any photos of the different coat types. Would someone(s) post pics of their dood and comment on type of coat, please?

Is it typical for the wool coats to have some coarse hair mixed in? Toby is a goldendoodle with a mixture of fleece and wool but the wool parts have some coarse hair which is more golden in color.

you are referring to Kemp and it can show up in all coat types

Wool coats do not move and blow in the wind and have a stiffness to them, very much like a poodle coat. Fleece coats lay down, blow in the wind and have a shine to them not see in the wool coats.

Just looking at the pics you have posted of Harlow, he is a wool.

I have always thought that Guinness had a fleece coat. Since I had him trimmed though, his hair it very curly and now looks more like wool. So, now I'm not totally sure.

Your dog is a combo fleece hair coat, more of a hair coat..

He is really beautiful. My Faith is also more of a hair coat, but she never sheds. I wonder why some hair coats shed and others don't.
