Denise, I am so sorry to hear about the things going on in your home. The Lord NEVER gives you more than you can handle. You will be looking at this time and wonder how you got through it, all by the Lord. Cast your axieties on Him for He cares for you. His ears are open to all our prayers. Praying your day has gotten a little lighter and appt for your DD went well today. Praying for your father as well. Praying for his pain to lessen and the surgery is soon. Blessings

They put a soft boot on her but was told not to walk on it. We take her to a orthopaedic Dr tomorrow. She is still very uncomfortable. I am waiting for a surgical date for dad. Thank heavens my DH is off work today and tomorrow. He has been helping me. I babysitter my DD's one year old. Between my DD, Levi ,dad and Sophie...its crazy here...Thanks for the prayers..:)

Denise .. Did they put your daughters ankle in a "boot"? My Mom sprained hers last week. We thought it was broken as it was all swollen and very tender to the touch in one spot. However, no breaks showed up so they put her in a boot for 2 weeks. As soon as they put the boot on she was able to walk again and has been doing very well. Didn't even have to give her any pain medication (She was already on some from back surgeries that she is on full time).

Keep icing it and using an anti-inflammatory. My daughter sprained her knee in May. We iced it 24 hours a day. The pain was incredibly intense. Praying for a quick recovery.

Thanks Bonnie, my daughter has a bad sprain. She will be staying with us for a few days. I'm glad its not broken.

I am praying for both your dad and your daughter. It is so hard to care for both when they are hurting so. That is really sad. I pray God gives you the strength and wisdom to love and support them both. May your dad recover completely from his surgery and may your daughter's injury be less severe than anticipated and heal well. Blessings, Denise.

I came in here today to ask for more prayers and saw your posts. Dad was doing great but now has a herna and will have surgery to repair it. I over heard some dr's say he is remarkable for 89 yrs old. Any surgery is a risk they explained that but dad said he can't take the pain from the herna. So I am again asking for prayers for him. I don't have the date for his surgery yet. Should hear today. I just now heard from my daughter and she thinks she may have broken he ankle at work. She manages Bed Bath ane Beyond and was helping her workers unload a truck and she stepped down and twisted her foot. she sent me a pic looks like a grapefruit.. I am praying its just a sprain.
