Thank you Doug! Sugar is adorable! Kathy has been great with giving us information and photos-we are trying our best to be patient in waiting for Thursday to arrive!

Ellen, we already have the camera/video camera in the car for our trip to the airport! =) We will post pics/videos as soon as we can. It sounds like Beau's party was a success. That's great! Wish we could have been there!

Please deliver a hug and kiss from our Doodlequest Alumni Group here on Doodlekisses on Thursday, to welcome Aure to our group! Take lots of photos and/or videos....these moments are priceless. Beau's fourth birthday is TODAY! I made a little party for him at our dog park, and several doodles were in attendance.....a total of about 30 dogs....all his pals! He got lots of gifts and we (the humans) drank pina coladas. There was a home made lemon cake for the humans and a "cake" made out of hamburger, iced with mashed potato for the dogs.....it was a BIG hit. Beau's bulldog friend, Toroman, tried to jump onto the table to get seconds. Party City has a whole department for dog parties, and we were well outfitted from there, including balloons and streamers and plates and napkins with a puppy motif. I will send the photos as soon as I download them! Congratulations on Aure! So now our group is four of us!! :o) Wish you could all have been at the party yesterday.

Aure is sure a cute little fella. I have had Sugar since September 2005 and she has been a joy. Kathy does a great job with her doods and I know you will enjoy Aure as much as I have enjoyed Sugar. Currently, Sugar is 39.6 lbs and has maintained that weight for the past 24 months, I wish I could say the same for myself.

We get Aure this Thursday from the airport and are soooo excited! Here is the latest picture on the website-7 weeks old now =)

Hope all is well with Beau, I've been pretty busy this spring. We got our last snowfall on Monday so now it is time to do the lawn work. You can't belive how a foot of snow covers up during the winter.

Sugar is doing great and is going to the groomer Monday for her spring do... I'll up load pictures.

Lila is a 4 month old half an half from doodlequest. Her parents were Trusty and Sweety. She is cream and has apricot ears.

Beau frequently gets matted when I let his hair grow out. The groomers have all been recommending that I get a good comb, instead of the slicker brush I have been devoted to since I got him. I didn't listen to their advice until just recently, after I noticed that my friend's golden doodle just had a prettier coat than mine, and I asked his secret. I went and bought the same comb he was using.....at Petsmart. It has metal tines, and has sort of an ergonomic handle made out of black rubber. Don't remember the brand name, but ut was $7.49 if that helps. If has done a GREAT job of keeping him silky and matt-free.
