Treats

This is just a reminder. We're all using a lot of treats and its a good idea to know whats in them. Remember to go to the DK cookbook and make some. They are just pennies to make and the doodles love them. To make things easy with most of the recipes I roll out the dough on parchment paper - take a big knife and score it into little squares - 1/2" maybe - bake - break apart. You get hundreds of them from each recipe. Just made the peanut butter ones - Great.

For those of us who would just as rather clean a bathroom than cook - anything - Charlie Bear treats are reasonable, 3 calories each, safe and when shaken around in a bag with minced hot dog or salmon or chicken my dogs think they are awesome. Of course both of my dogs are chow hounds and would probably think pine shavings were yummy too. But try it.

Oops forgot when I know I am going to have plenty of clicker time, I use my dog's breakfast kibble as treats. Sometimes shaken with something nice and smelly, sometimes plain. They are pretty hungry in the morning and really want that kibble.
