I do wonder sometimes if I save to many spoons and don't do enough for fear of the consequences. I love people and used to be the life of the party and the last to leave. Now I don't even get there. This last two weeks I have done nothing except look after the puppy and Neely while I baby sit. I am afraid to do any more as that is quite the increase in activity and I don't want to overdue it an miss any work. I am lucky enough that I got back to work after 7 years off!!! I work two days a week in an optometrists office. I work late Wednesdays so I only have to get up on Monday mornings. That is the worst part. I also have OCD as far as everyone around me says. I have an issue with cleanliness and spend most if not all my spare time cleaning instead of using my spoons elsewhere. I can't help it. I don't want to clean and wish someone would do it but no one does it to my standards. But while this puppy is here I haven't cleaned a thing and it isn't bothering me. When he leaves I will be obsessed with cleaning  from the ceiling down. I am already worrying about how it will get done. Do any of you think you hold back or waste spoons like I do?

I think the doodle with a lab coat and a stethescope is a great idea, Jennifer~ you do have one?  That would be great if you have the extra "spoons" to do it.  Make sure you don't over-do though.  Save some up if you need to, no hurry.

Yes, going to the movie theater isnt my favorite thing to do, I would much rather be laying in my sleep number bed and watching tv or NETFLIX, I swear that is the greatest thing since I don't know what.  My girls come and do their schoolwork in my room, they read to me, they watch movies and snuggle with me & Dublin will come up on the bed everyso often too.  It's not that I don't want him on the bed, I invite him all the time.  he gets too hot.  He comes up then gets down after a while.  Now, I just need to convince my husband to get the big screen TV so we can stream netflix!  There are most nights & days when I need to fix my "cocoon" as my DH says. I have LOTS of pillows and they suround me to "cushion" me to protect me from the vibration or bounce of our daughters or dogs. It's funny now that I have read your posts and I think, wow, we really do so many things alike.  Yes, I just any of you lived closer...any chance Jennifer, Tina, Nancie or Lorraine you would consider moving?

An adjustable bed would be wonderful for you. I can't sleep in my bed if it isn't made. Even if I 've been in it all day I have to fix it. Then I have to arrange everything just right depending on whats hurting. My husband says are you done making your nest yet! I am not doing anything this week and next other than my work days and saving my spoons for the puppy sitting. It is alot of fun but my house looks like a pack of puppies tracked through the house. It is supposed to rain for another few days too!! Today is awesome so I am going to get up and check it out. THe dogs are outside hanging out and DH is off today working on our deck he started last summer.

Lorraine, I too at times spend a lot of time in bed. I try not to because for me it brings me down. I try to get up every morning and make my bed. I love a very clean house and it helps my mood when my bed is made. I try to stay up for a while, some days I can, and some I can't. I am having a wonderful week and am incredible grateful. I have been able to function for several hours a day which is great for me..... I love Temporpedic beds, and I also like the Sleep number. I have had a hospital bed in my house but I made them take it out within the week, it looked like someone was dying with the bed, the oxygen and that was pitiful, I do think my next bed will be adjustable because I have to sleep sitting up.. I currently cough up blood when I lay flat.... I would LOVE to get the adjustable temperpedic bed.. I know Jack would like it too....

I could do that I suppose since I am a nurse and have a lab coat and a stethoscope . I will work on that when I can.. I am pooped and in bed.. I am working on some projects around the house, which feels good. I am having a good week but tired at night.
