Florida Vacation

Okay, Maci and I don't live in Florida so technically I shouldn't have joined this group (but I used to live in Florida, so does that count). Maci and I are going to be in Juno Beach, Florida from November 20, 2009 until November 26, 2009 and then heading over to the west coast area (Valrico - near Tampa) from November 26 until November 29 and was wondering if any one wanted to get together for some doodle romping in either area.

Hope you have a wonderful vacation in November!!! It should be GORGEOUS!! Thanksgivings down here are so nice!!! We don't live near Juno Beach or Tampa, but hope you have a great time visiting!!!

Thanks Sherri - I have been coming to Florida for Thanksgiving since I moved back to NJ in 1988. I love it down there and really miss living there. Wish you lived closer to either one so we could meet.

Hi Kate and Maci! Sally and Echo here! You will miss the romp as it will be on Jupiter Beach the last Saturday which is the 28th. BUT, I'm willing to romp there anyway! I have been taking Echo to some of the pet friendly restaurants and that is going well too. Echo will be 1 year old on the 24th and would love to have a doodle to celebrate with! I found one of Echo's littermates who lives in Jupiter and they come to the romps now. We will do something so Maci has a good time visiting. Email me and I will give you my cell # ! [e-mail]

Hi Sally - I was going to e-mail you personally tonight (as I have your e-mail from our previous times that we talked) but I figured I would post something here as well - the more the merrier as they say. Maci and I would love to help Echo celebrate his birthday (and we can celebrate mine early - the 28th) with some romping on the beach and then maybe some lunch or something if your schedule permits. Sorry we will be North for the Hoildays about then. However if you have the time go to Ft. Desoto Park Dog Beach. Aside from being ranked as one of the top Florida beach areas for people, they have the coolest place in the world for dogs.

When we were last there 100+ dogs we playing on the beach. There were no fights, no growling just fun.

Hi Chevy, Dave and Nancy - we were going to go there last year when we were down but we ended up at the Sun City beach in Ruskin. DeSoto is definitely on our list of places to go this trip. Sorry we'll miss you - where are up north will you be?
