Dawn and I will be bringing Beckley a multi Gen Doodle home from Amy's this weekend.  We would like to get in contact with other Doodle owners from the area.

We live in South Riding and go to the Doggie Park on Old Lee Road.

Beckley will be going to Service Dog Training starting the 2nd week in August.  We are looking forward to having him as a part of our family.

I too am bringing home a goldendoodle from Amy's this weekend - Belle. I am very excited! I too live in Northern VA - in the Fair Oaks area.

Debbie,  That is awsome,  we were hoping that some of his brothers and sisters would be back in this area. We will have to meet at the dog park.  our email is ggriffe50@verizon.net

Yes, that would be great.  I'm picking up Belle on Saturday from Amy.  It would be great to get the doodles together.  My email is zanedebbie@aol.com.

We will be at Amy's at 10am on Saturday to pick up Beckley,  hopefully we can meet then.  Looking forward to meeting you and Belle.

I will be there at noon on Saturday, as Amy said she had a number of people picking up their puppies at 10 already. Looking forward to meeting you and Dawn and Beckley too.

Hi Gene/Debbie,

Hope all is going well with Beckley and Belle!

It seems like just yesterday we picked up our pup Murphy--a multigen small standard-- from Amy, but it was a year and a half ago!  We live in South Arlington and sometimes get out to some of the "doodle romps" in the area (organized by the NOVA Doodles group on DK). Last fall they were in Alexandria, but I think they've been held more recently near Chantilly. Those have been great, especially when Murphy got too old to go to the free puppy socialization classes in the area.

Hope to see you all out there sometime!

Kelly and Paul,

Thanks for the Note.  We are looking to getting Beckley out and about after he completes boot camp.  Beckley will become Dawns Service Dog and he starts his training on Sunday when we return form PA.  The great thing is the traininer with Paws4People is right here in Ashburn and the initial installment is only two weeks.

So far he has been a gem, getting acquainted with our other Dog Rooney and learning the ropes.  We can see that he is a smart little man.

Pictures will be posted this evening.

Kelly and Paul,
Thank you for the welcome. Things are going well with Belle. I know she would like to play with other puppies and I was planning on starting a puppy training and socializing class in 2 weeks, but she won't have finished all her shots by then, so I'm not sure if its best to wait for 6 more weeks until she finishes her shots. Today she had her first visit with the vet I use and all went well. I'm interested to hear any helpful tips you have since your goldendoodle Murphy is 1 1/2.
