Why should the Photography group have all the fun. I think it would be great if you get out when you can and identify your plants. They deserve it : ) That way when you post you can let us know what you've got. A general ID is good, but the more specific the better. If people like the plant they can get it, or read about it...and if you don't know or don't have time please post any way. I certainly don't want to discourage any posts!
