Clematis From Seed

Does anyone have any experience with planting Clematis seeds? I just noticed that those spikey looking pinwheels that remain after the petals fall off the flower have become all fuzzy...I pulled it off & there are seeds in there! So now I am wondering what I can do with them...just plant them? Keep them in the house in a window & see what happens, or should I do something else with them? I appreciate your help everyone!!

I love the look of Clematis seeds. I have half heartedly tried to plant them with no success. I think you'd need to let them mature a lot more if they bloomed within the recent past. I took a picture of some of mine lately : )
