In the Beginning....

Gardening has been a passion for me since long before there even were labradoodles as an other than accidental breed. Over the years, without necessarily putting it in words, I have developed a gardening "philosophy", much of it being based on "laziness".  I  think I am, gradually going to put some of that into words in this group.  Why, because I can and I like to share my garden, plants and view. You can read it or not because you can! Of course, anyone else can join in, share their own views, debate and discuss.

Here are two books, long out of print,  that were part of the the foundation. If you ever see a copy  of one of them in a used book store, grab it. To be continued.....

Wow, I am amazed! The Mossman book is ancient. And Ruth Stout, sister pf Rex, the mystery writer of the Nero Wolfe, was a character. She's known as the mother of mulch.

I certainly can relate to you! I use to have huge flowers bed that need hours of work. Now they are just the basic around the house. BUT... what i have is beautiful and almost without maintenance. I can enjoy my garden without slaving for it beauty now. I love it! Love your books too.
