I got a tiny cutting at a garden tour a couple of years ago. This was an above board deal. The lady was giving cuttings or divisions of plants to whomever wanted them. Sometimes things are a little shadier--pun intended. This year it's starting to come along. It is hardy here in Zone 6. Any one know what it is? I don't. The plant has the variegated leaves, red, white and green. Don't be confused by all the surrounding weeds.

Coleas Family  (sp) ?
It looks like variegated vinca, except for the red part.

I don't think any of those are right but I don't know what it is myself. I think it is going to be more shrub like than vine like. Definitely not a coleus, the leaves are different, and it's hardy here. I have variegated vinca and it's different.
We have this plant at work all over some of the dedicated gardens. I'll ask the gardeners if we don't solve this by next week
Great. Thanks!
It looks like Houttuynia Chameleon.

I think you could be right. It does look a lot like it now that I looked it up.Thanks.

I haven't seen any flowers and it hasn't been invasive. But since it's growing in a place where formerly there were only weeds, I'm not too worried about that...yet. I'll keep an eye on it.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to this discussion.  After looking at the plants at work, I'm wrong as to ever seeing this one.  I had it confused with this plant in the picture.  Hope you figure it out.

The Fall season has already changed the colors of the leaves so these are different but still, I was wrong that I thought we had some in the gardens at work.

The plant in the picture looks like coral bells , which have all kinds of beautiful foliage nowadays. They are Heuchera and I like them. Thanks for remembering, though.
