The garden is going to be hidden under snow forever it seems. I try to remind myself that some people say snow is a good "fertilizer" and it surely is a good insulator. So today I went looking, painstakingly trudging through the snow for signs of spring. I found some and some other things I found to be pleasing.

Thanks.
A sign of what's to come-so if you remember the hard work from last year for the beautiful grden bounty, enjoy the REST of the next few months because the work will be there soon enough!  Enjoy the lull!
Good thinking.
I just know by end of July, I am pretty pooped!:)
When it gets too hot I just wait it out. But by the time I put the garden to bed I'm ready. That said, over the years I've aimed for the no work garden, with mulch, leaving the leaves, perennials, woodsy borders, no edging etc.
I think you need to share more on the "no work" garden.   I've got perennials too...maybe it's my need for fresh produce..lol

We do need a discussion on this sometime. I don't do too many vegetables. Just when I have some so do the supermarkets and farmer's markets, and they are local and fresh. But years ago there was the "mother of mulch", Ruth Stout, sister of the mystery writer Rex Stout. She wrote several, long out of print books, on the no work garden. Great fun and worthwhile advice. Sometimes you can find copies online.

Very beautiful.  Your garden is lovely any time of year.
Thank you.
YAY!!!!  Very pretty, and inspiring.
