Remember the Rose Breasted Grosbeak from last week?  Well he disappeared until today.  This time however, he has brought company.  This would be a female Rose Breasted Grosbeak.  :)

Dang, we have 2 females!  I keep trying to get a pic of the two of them together, fail.  I read that woodlands are a favorite local for them, they are summer residents in my area.  they have been at the at the feeder frequently today, but if i move to pick up the camera they fly away.  I have fingers crossed that they stick around, they sure are beautiful.  Right now within 10 feet of my deck we have a nest of Blue Jays, Thrashers, Robins, Eastern Phoebe and Mourning Doves.  They all need to hurry up as we will be having major renovations to our deck within the next four weeks. :(  The Phoebe is under the deck, I worry about them the most.  That bugger always builds just as we are starting to be outside in and around where she likes to build her nest.  Last year she abandoned before the eggs hatched, she is very skittish.
