It's cold, but it's been colder other years, and blustery. Those of us in the northeast can't complain so far about winter, Though. And my snowdrops are blooming:

And some volunteers that grew from seedlings in a pot I brought in just started to bloom, not a great picture but I just love volunteers. These were from an annual I planted outside last spring:

Now all of you from the warmer parts of the world can show us your signs of spring and I promise we will enjoy them without too much envy.

Very pretty, F.

We are snow covered now so " I GOT NOTIN" to show. But thanks for your pictures.

Lovely, I did see a couple of Robins but that's all I got.

Robins are a very good sign

Absolutely.

I've been watching a pair of  nesting Hawks.

I hope you get some good baby pictures but I guess it'll be hard.

I know what you mean. We had such a wet year last year I'm hoping everything survived too. And lots of disrupted ground, frost heave or moles/voles. Anyway, keep looking folks. I see lots of bulb foliage poking through lately and hardy camellia buds are swelling.

We have pussy willows starting to bloom their cozy soft little willows now..my favorite sign of spring.

Today is in the 50's but Wednesday we may have a sleet/snow/rain mix. I've never seen a winter like this with so little snow and although I love that it makes me wonder what it means and how it will affect my plants. I wonder too how all that extra rain, around 2 feet of it, has been tolerated by the plants. Meanwhile, back in the garden I have never seen crocuses this early:

A lone hellebore is out:

Roses, honeysuckle and other things are leafing out:

And the doodles are frisky, Calla doesn't seem to mind having a stick up her tail so to speak
