Spring is in the air!  Flowers are in bloom!  As requested, here are some photos.

The request for photos stemmed from this comment: "From Mississippi ...... so much in bloom here and it is beautiful. My azaleas and wisteria along with daisies, petunias, and honey suckle are so beautiful. The grass is that beautiful spring green. I am getting plenty of garden therapy these days! Added bonus.....the pollen is almost gone!"

It is absolutely beautiful this time of year!

man....replied and got an error message.  Let me see if I can remember what I typed....

I got King and Kirkley (named for the surnames of my parents) for my birthday from my sister!  I have only had them since April 1.  They are absolutely fabulous.  They are taming down quickly.  King (the small and younger one) likes to have his head rubbed.  Kirkley (the larger one) is still quite shy.  They will both eat treats out of my hand and run to the fence when they see me outside!  They make me smile and laugh every day.  I just love them!  It is sad that so many donkeys are abused.  These were not directly abused but were neglected.  I am working to get them back in top shape!  Here are some pics of them.  Hopefully it will post this time!

What lovely burros.

Thanks!  They are precious!  I hope they are soon tame enough to let me brush them and trim the matted hair!

They look so sweet!

They are really sweet :)

Beautiful! What kind of flowers are those in the third photo?

We are having such a slow start to spring here because of the lingering late snow and cold. Nothing is flowering yet at all except for a few daffodils. Nice to see that it's springtime elsewhere!

Azaleas. We are doing spring in the Photography Group so we have flowers there too : )

Azaleas.  My favorite.  They have a large magenta bloom!  My daffodils and iris bloomed out already.  I also have  gerber and shasta daisies but do not have pics of them.  Soon my black eyed susans, cone flowers, and day lilies will be in bloom!

We too are way behind you. And even when we get going I won't have day lilies til summer.

Here is a honeysuckle bush.  I almost didn't post it because I am ashamed of the garden shed.  It really needs painting and the pic brought that to my attention!

But you have lovely flowers!!!!
