The Storm of October 2011

As many of you may know we were hit with a freak snowstorm October 29 and lost power for a week.  The area has been devastated with lost trees.  We lost all our ornamental trees and many oaks.  Our yard was a mess. So sad for us, we had 7 dogwoods circling our driveway and they are all gone. My husband just got them down today.  I will attach a couple photos I have. Before last winter and today. Any other stories out there.  I am sure there are.

So sorry to hear your trees were so hard hit. It's so hard to nurture things for years and see them gone in a snap. I'm glad your power is back. I was relatively lucky.
