Things are really popping in the garden right now. So much foliage and so many flowers.

I have had azaleas, which are now fading:

and then there are the rhododendrons just getting going:

The weigela:

and there are columbines:

I have roses just starting and clematis too. So lets keep this thread going. What's blooming in your garden?

I am in Mississippi.  My azaleas bloomed out several weeks ago.  I really wish they lasted longer.  But the good news is that is time for my favorite flowers: black eyes susans, hydrangea, gerber daisies, and day lilies.  I am attaching pics of what is currently blooming.  Soon there will be many blooming.  They are just starting!

I love your mixtures and things like daylilies and Queen Ann's Lace. And hydrangeas and roses. Keep on posting as things bloom.

Thank you!  Will do.....and I should have my baby girl end of July.  I am sure I will be taking many photos of her for the other groups.  I will be going to Austin, TX to pick her up ASAP!  ..... and .... I get first pick!

My camera will be getting a really good workout!

So exciting.

You have such a variety! I might have to hunt down some jasmine, I do love it. Your season is ahead of ours here in NJ and looking at your blooms reminds me of what's to come, so fun to look at the photos!

Jasmine is not hardy up here I think. But you could overwinter it I guess.

I had it once and treated it like an annual, same as I do with the mandevilla vine I buy every year. It does seem such a shame to throw it out. Maybe I'll try to overwinter the mandevilla I just planted, you never know!

I have overwintered a mandevilla vine but at least given my house it would be better to buy one from scratch. That goes for most of my annuals in pots but sometimes I just can't let them die--although a quick death might be easier on them and me. But I'm a person who lets thing grow, good volunteers, weeds of certain kinds etc. some results are wonderful and other I live to regret.

Haha, I hear ya! It's a long winter and a lot of weeks of watering! I do enjoy the volunteers that appear and more often find them a more appropriate spot than they've chosen! I've got a few tiny (5 - 6 inches tall) butterfly maple trees from my one large tree that have been growing for a couple of years now and I keep an eye on them. It's a variegated variety and I only hope they grow to look like the "mother" tree. Too soon to tell, but interesting to watch.

Let us know.

the Jasmine smells really good too!

My husband and I like to plant things that smell good.....and we love to plant things that are local and grow wild.  We have honey suckle also (bush and vine), gardenia, and sweet olive (my favorite).

Only honeysuckle will grow here. I love it but it's threatening to overtake everything : )
