Your website says 1 year health guarantee against genetic problems, not two. It also says " OFA: pending" on the Sire's hip certification?


Long-term Health Guarantee
My puppies come with a guarantee that covers his/her hips and eyes until 12 months of age. If your puppy is diagnosed as having hip dysplasia or eye disease, you will be given a full refund and the opportunity to return your pup. You do not have to return the puppy.

This guarantee only applies to the original purchase of the pup. The guarantee is voided if the condition was caused by injuries acquired through training, play, or other activities. Or if the puppy has been neglected, malnourished, or allowed to become obese.

To qualify for a refund, your puppy’s X-rays must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian who will send a statement to me.

Wow, I answered this with my iphone and obviously need more practice with texting. Tuckers scores are good from OFA. The guarantee will be changed to 2 years and I will add that puppies will be sold with the understanding that they are to be spayed or neutered before one year. I had sent this email to my webmaster (my daughter) back in May when I got the hip scores from OFA. I'll make sure it gets changed right away. I am thrilled to find such a good sight that encourages responsible breeding practices. Lynne P-W
PS This was returned to me because I replied to the email. Since then, the web sight has been updated with the corrections, Tuckers hip score and a 2 year guarantee. She failed to include that all puppies are sold with the understanding that they will be spayed or neutered within one year. She is adding that to the contract as we speak. As I read your guarantee it only covers eyes and hip problems.

Thank you for noticing this. The whole sight has been revised and updated in the past two weeks. My webmaster asked me to read over it to make sure it was all right and I missed that. I will make sure that it states that any genetic problem is covered. As a breeder, I will do what I can to see that every puppy is healthy.
