We will hand out one point for each of the bullets. At the end of the week we will have a parade to honor the winner(s).

This week's challenge:

Complete an exercise workout (your choice, whatever challenges you. Work at your own pace)
Do something nice for yourself (long bath, mani-pedi, quiet time with a book...you get the idea)
Post something inspirational.
Make a good food choice, feel free to share the recipe or a great trick for staying on track.
Let's have a great week.

  1. HEAVY house work. So much bending, stooping, scrubbing and lifting. I'm pooped.
  2. Took a hot shower and laid down with a decorating book. I could seriously spend hours looking at design.

Today I went xcountry skiing for and hour and it was more of a work out than usual as I used the wrong wax and was slipping and sliding all over the place. I was really wanting to take off the skis and just walk which would have been a lot easier but I didn't and stuck with it and I'm sure I burned twice as many calories.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

Still haven't been able to get out with the girls. Penny was spayed last week and needs to stay still (YEAH RIGHT). I think we will have to throw in some tiny walks though because she is becoming completely destructive with all of the excess energy. They are chewing through their gate, and digging in the yard. We may resort to giving Penny a half a tranq and walking the heck out of Ginger....I don't know yet. We've tried to mentally exhaust them by hiding toys and stuff but....not so much they....have....energy! I guess I will have to dust off the treadmill this week.

1. ZERO nothing
2. Bundled up & watched a ton of shows I had taped. That was nice, the boys watched TV in the other room for me.
3. LOVE THIS!!! "Talk doesn't cook rice." ~Chinese Proverb
4. Pretty poor day with eating. I bought a chicken burrito at lunch, a small square of left over lasagna in the afternoon and then a turkey sandwich for dinner. NOT so great.
Well, so far this week as been a bust.  Been dealing with some personal issues and am finding it hard to get that motivational jump start.  Going to start some laundry and clean some of the house...maybe that will help.  One thing that helped me this morning was Buddy.  Usually when I am sitting at my desk he walks around or lays on the floor.  He must have sensed something and wanted to jump up into my lap.  So I let him and he sat in my lap facing me, and gave me a hug, put a front paw on either side of my neck and put his head on my left shoulder.  What a sweetie!  He stayed like that for a couple of minutes.  Pets really do know! :)
Melissa I hope today is a better day for you      Yep  Pets do really know if something is wrong !!  They are so very special aren't they !
Thank you Sue.

I ran around the backyard in the snow with Wilson   15 minutes at least until I slipped and fell (but am okay)

Treat day at school    1 Oreo cookie (double stuff  yummy )  and carrotts
