I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making the first big doodle romp a success! I hope that in the near future we are all able to gather again as a group.
The group was formed to help promote the doodles as well as create a place for owners share thoughts, ideas and stories. Oh yeah… and a place for our puppies to play and get to know each other. Now when I say, “promote”, I don’t mean it as in to increase the popularity of our doodles, but rather to educate others about them. Everything from breeding to the fact that we have dogs that were breed for service of special needs, we have smart dogs that make great family pets, we have super dogs that love agility. You know there are just so many great aspects to our doodles this note could turn into a 9 page LETTER if I were to keep going. But, what I would like to say is that some events that I would like to plan for the future is perhaps meeting at Stoney Point Mall and events like the Easter Parade. Things of that nature where we can get out with each other (bandanas in hand or rather on neck) and our doodles to do “meet and greet” types of things. Along with more romps of course! I welcome any and all suggestions on this subject so again and as always feel free to comment.
Let me say one last time “Thank you” to those that made it to the first GRAD doodle romp and for those of you that missed it I hope you will be able to make future events!
Hey Belinda! I'd like to say thanks again to you for having all of us over to your home. It was lots of fun and nice to be able to put faces to the names and actually get to meet everyone with their Doodles.
I like the idea of getting everyone out together and let those "uninformed" see what great dogs they are. I will do some thinking as to what kinds of events we could all go to, but I like the idea of the Easter Parade. Sounds good!!
We would be up for anything! I think promoting the dudes is a fantastic idea!! How bout a billboard? HAHA!! It would even be fun to get together on a greater extent with like the East Coast group and do some sort of fundraising walk or something like that in a central location like Baltimore???
Just a little side note - what would it cost to get some t-shirts made up with our logo? I would love one! Anyone else???
Thanks again Belinda for a great time Sunday! And oh by the way, Stella's picture better make it into the calendar!
Hey Lynn that is a great idea. I have no idea how to go about it but I would love to try and figure it out.
As far as the shirts go that would be no problem and they wouldn't cost that much at all. We will have to chat about that.
And thank you about the sweet comments about the photo of Stella!
