Anybody Feed Guardian Pup Different Food than Other Dogs?

I'll be getting a guardian little baby girl puppy next summer.  I currently have a mini goldendoodle who is doing well on his Natural Balance Synergy (which is a recommended food on DK list)...The breeder I'm getting my guardian girl from feeds all her dogs Diamond Naturals food.  She would like me to be consistent & feed the guardian pup that food.  She says that when my dog goes to her house to have puppies that is what she'll feed her & she doesn't want me feeding her something different at my house because that may confuse her system.  I agree - I don't want her switching foods when she goes over there either.  Many DK people felt that Diamond Naturals isn't as good as Natural Balance.  I don't claim to be an expert, but their argument is that if I feed an inferior food I will be the one to pay the vet bills later on in my dog's life, so the food should be my choice (as long as I feed a quality food).  I could suggest to the breeder that when my dog goes to her house to have the pups that I could supply her with the food I'm feeding her (if different than the Diamond Naturals).

1.  Do any of you know anything about Diamond Naturals (especially vs. Natural Balance)?

2.  What would you do?  Have you experienced this situation - feeding 2 different dog foods to your 2 different dogs?

Thank you for the information!  I will look into it more to see what type of of DN she feeds exactly.  I appreciate your input, especially from a breeder point of view.
