Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I'd posted in a response earlier this evening to my initial inquiry in Puppy Madness but this is probably the better forum to inquire about my 6 mo. old Australian Labradoodle limping since Thurs...got the diagnosis today upon returning for an Xray that it's paonsteitis, a condition of the bone marrow in growing puppies which is generally self-limiting but can wax and wane.  He's on two anti-inflammatories now, poor boy - and he's been far from his active self the past several days, even lost a half pound. Anxious to hear if any others have had dogs affected by this.

No, I haven't had any but here's an interesting description.

Wow, that is a new one. Never heard of it. I just went to the link that F. Parker posted and read about it. Poor puppy, I am so sorry to hear your little guy has to go through the pain. Hope the anti-inflammatories help him. Good Luck.
