Well, finally got to talk with the Vet this afternoon. Sophie had another overnight accident on Sunday night. First one since she went on the meds almost 2 weeks ago. She has also started to have some issues with her rear legs. Seems to have a little trouble getting up. Also a little shaky. She is also just sort of in a daze, and it is difficult to get her to eat. We are going to discontinue the current meds and she is going to the Vet tomorrow to spend the day so they can do some blood work and depending on the outcome of that they will decide the next steps. The Vet is concerned with the rear leg issues and wants to do the tests for Addisons because should that be the case she doesn't want her getting into an Addisons crisis. So, that will be the next thing she looks at. Cushings is also a possibility and the Diabetes Insipidus is still on the table as well. It is also possible that many of the current symptoms have been caused by the meds that she was on for the Inflammatory Bladder Disease. So, just say a little prayer for her along with all the others on the prayers lists tonight that it is only the drugs causing these latest symptoms.

Sending lots of prayers and love to Sophie and hoping for good news soon.
JD is sending Sophie a big get well kiss!
Linda -- Thanks for checking in on Sophie. Right now we are dealing with an issue at the injection site that has gotten raw. Not sure if maybe a little of the Vincristine leaked out or what, but we have to keep some spray on it and keep it wrapped so she will leave it alone. Right now she has some lymph nodes that have swollen again. They aren't sure if they are just related to the chemo or if it is a sign the chemo isn't working as well as they hoped. They had to reduce the dose when she got sick a month or so ago, and they might have to try and up it a little bit at her next shot. Her stamina is really affected. All in all though she is doing ok. She still has that sweet big Sophie smile that just tugs at my heart, so as long as I can still see that I'll take it! Thanks again for checking in on her, we really appreciate.
Sorry to hear your having a few problems. Let's hope the nodes are just chemo related and the lymphoma is responding.
Uh oh....I missed somewhere the diagnosis. Chemo? Oh, Lucy, how hard this must be!
Sheri has posted more recent discussions about Sophie's diagnosis than this one. She has lymphoma.
Here's the discussion that was posted after the diagnosis: http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/sophie-update-where-to-eve...
I'm sorry to hear this but so glad that big smile is still there. Sophie continues to be in our doodle prayers. We appreciate the update.
Sheri, hope that things calm down for Sophie soon. Hugs to both of you!
I hope you get an answer soon as to what the problem is, there is nothing more frustrating and heartwrenching. Sophie is in our prayers.
