Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

So I've joined this group a little prematurely,as Bingley (labradoodle) is not 65lbs... yet!

He is 4 months old and weighs 37lbs!!!! And 22 " tall. He is not at all fat - infact he's quite skinny. Does anyone remember how much their BIG doods weighed when they were pups, at say 10 weeks or 16 weeks. (he was 22lbs at 10 weeks).

I was just trying to work out how big he will get! My Goldendoodle is 27 inches and 66lbs and I thought he was big - but I think Mr Bingley might get to 29 inches... or bigger! Any guesses???

Did YOU have a 37lb 4 month old doodle?????

Thats huge when Huff came to us at 8 weeks he weighed 16 lbs with huge paws. At about 6 months he weighed 60-65 lbs. Now he is 87 lbs. Im not sure about higth.
They say that if you double their weight at 4 months and add ten pounds, that will be close to their adult weight.  Yep, I think he is going to be a heavyweight.  And yes, I did have a 38 lb. 4-month-old doodle and he ended up to be 105 pounds (of pure love).
I"ve also joined the group prematurely.  Harley is 4months, weighs 41bs and is 22" tall.  From what I've read a good measure is to double the weight at 4 months and add 10 lbs will come close to adult weight.  In that case Harley will be in the 90lb range.  I LOVE big dogs, especially big cuddly dogs.
I'm in the same boat (I think). Cooper is 3 months today and weighst between 24-25 lbs!! Everytime someone asks how old he is they respond with "ohhhhh he's gonna be big"... Looks like, from the posts below, he WILL be big!!!
