I live real close by in Ocean Township, Wayside. What time of day are you talking about. It has been so hot, so we have not walked too much except in my yard.

Evening is usually best for me and her. She has a longer coat and no plans of shaving it down. Was thinking we could start up in the fall when it's not so brutal out.

That sounds good to me.  If things calm down for me, perhaps we could also meet at the Asbury Park dog beach one evening. I used to go alot. However, I have been having medical crisis with 2 of my dogs recently, so I have not been able to commit to anything.

I have two goldendoodles and a Havanese dog. My Havanese dog has bladder cancer and had surgery and is on chemo. However, this week the oncologist said that the chemo has stopped working. The oncologist wants to put him on a stronger chemo that could have stronger side affects. I am confused.I want him to have a good qualilty of life. His ultrasound showed new tumors growing. He also had uncontollable diarrhea this week and loss of appetite. I had to shampoo him 6 times in one evening. He was going to the bathroom while I was drying h im in the towel. It was frightening. I took him to the oncologist and she gave his some subcutaneous fluids. She thought he could have pancreatitis. I am taking him to  the Vet again in the AM. This never happened before.

To make matter worse one of my doodles, Moses, had diarrhea  and vomiting also today. I was gone for a few hours and there were 6 large piles when i came home. He is also going to the Vet this AM. In addition, I had a scare throughout June that Moses may have had bone cancer, osteosarcoma. I saw 4 different Vets, [3 surgeons] and he was scheduled for surgery.I had constant chest pains from being so upset. I decided to get a 4th opinion and his x-rays were sent to an expert radiologist and thank God it was decided it was not Cancer, but rather a condition called 'Radial Ulna Ischemic Necrosis'. It is very rare. His treatment is anti inflammatory meds.

I think in the last month I have been to the Vet about 3 to 4 times a week ... maybe 12 to 14 times.

I can let you know if i am going to the dog beach

. I am praying that my furry guys feel better. I gave them rice and chicken today. My heart aches for them. I am so upset about my sweet Havanese.

almost an hour for me - too far. If you change the meet place let me know.
